How we designed and built Ekygai, a SaaS training platform: personalized programs, performance tracking, club management and a free trial, in Next.js.

Ekygai is aimed at endurance athletes, coaches and clubs. Triathlon, running, strength training: each discipline has its own training plans, indicators and preparation periods. The founder wanted a platform able to offer programs suited to each profile, track completed sessions and give coaches an overview of all their athletes.
Three audiences, one product. The athlete must be able to start alone, with a thirty-day free trial, and follow the program from a phone. The coach must create and adjust programs for several athletes. The club must manage its members and groups. All of it in French and English, with a short sign-up flow, built-in user guides and an FAQ to keep support requests down.
We designed Ekygai as a web application in Next.js and React, with a logged-in area per role and a public site that explains the product, compares the alternatives and answers questions before sign-up. Programs are generated from the user's profile, goals and history, then adjusted session after session. A dashboard tracks performance over time; the coach has a consolidated view of their athletes.
The public site is treated with the same care as the application: guide pages, a structured FAQ, comparisons, and a free trial path reachable from every page.
Next.js and React for the interface and the public site, server-side rendering for the public pages, API and database for the programs and sessions. Continuous deployment, error and performance monitoring.
Ekygai is in production and welcomes athletes, coaches and clubs with a thirty-day free trial. Personalized programs, performance tracking and club management work on desktop and on phone, in French and in English. The public site carries both acquisition and first-level support.
