SME automation: get the lost hours back

SME automation: quotes, orders, reminders, WhatsApp, stock, invoices and reporting connected by n8n, Make or Python workflows, with no retyping and no heavy development.

Every company has its invisible tasks: copying an order into a spreadsheet, sending the same confirmation message thirty times a day, chasing quotes that got no reply, preparing the Monday report. Added up, they represent hours per week for every person. SME automation means handing these tasks to workflows that run on their own, triggered by events, without errors and without omissions.

Nocido Solutions builds these workflows with n8n, Make or Python scripts, depending on volume and data sensitivity. We connect your existing tools: online store, ERP, CRM, email, WhatsApp, spreadsheets, bank. No redesign, no new software to learn: data moves, people decide. Each workflow is visible, documented and can be paused at any time.

What we automate most often

  • Orders: an order placed on the store creates the record in the ERP, alerts logistics and confirms to the customer on WhatsApp.
  • Quotes and follow-ups: a quote sent and left unanswered after five days triggers a personalized reminder, then an alert to the sales rep.
  • Delivery: carrier statuses flow into your tool and the customer receives a message at each step.
  • Stock: a threshold reached generates a draft supplier purchase order, ready to approve.
  • Invoices: the invoice is generated on delivery, sent to the customer and recorded in accounting.
  • Reporting: every Monday, an up-to-date dashboard lands in management's inbox.
  • Support: frequently asked questions get an immediate answer, the rest is routed to the right person.

Ten concrete cases, each with the right tool, are detailed in our article on SME automation examples.

What the service includes

  • Inventory of repetitive tasks and estimate of the time saved.
  • Selection of priority workflows and choice of tool.
  • Building the workflows, connectors and scripts.
  • Error handling: alerts, retries, logs.
  • One-page documentation per workflow, team training.
  • n8n hosting on your own server if you wish.
  • Monthly follow-up: measurement, adjustments, new workflows.

Why start small

The reflex is to automate everything. We do the opposite: three to five workflows to begin with, chosen because they save the most time for the least effort. They are in production within a few weeks, the team sees the gain, and the next workflows are added on that basis of trust. A platform like Choucho Affiliate, which handles cash-on-delivery orders for dozens of marketers, relies on this type of workflow: confirmation, assignment, tracking, commission.

Automation and ERP

Automation and ERP complement each other. The ERP structures the data; automation moves it to and from the outside world. When Odoo is in place, workflows connect it to the store, the carrier and the messaging tool. When it is not there yet, workflows push back the moment when it becomes necessary. We explain how the two fit together in our guide Odoo ERP: digitalize the management of your SME.

What you keep

The workflows are documented and deployed on your accounts or your server. You can modify them, stop them or hand them over to someone else. No dependency on us is built into the tool, and no credential is stored outside your own accounts.

Who it is for

Online retailers processing dozens of orders a day, firms chasing quotes and invoices, service companies coordinating field teams, distributors managing stock and suppliers, wherever they are based. As soon as two tools pass information by hand several times a day, an automation pays for itself within a few weeks.

Pricing and timelines

A first batch of three to five workflows costs between 8,000 and 25,000 MAD and is set up in two to four weeks. Monthly follow-up, which includes monitoring and enhancements, is billed as a flat fee.

Method

How we work

  1. Task inventory

Half a day with your teams to list the repetitive tasks, measure the time they take and spot those triggered by a specific event.

  2. Workflow selection

We select three to five automations with the best ratio of time saved to effort, and we decide on the tool: n8n, Make or a Python script.

  3. Build and test

Each workflow is built, tested on real cases, fitted with alerts in case of failure and documented on a single page.

  4. Deployment and measurement

Go-live, training, then a monthly report of time saved and errors avoided. The next workflows are added as needs arise.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much does an automation cost?

A first batch of three to five workflows ranges from 8,000 to 25,000 MAD depending on complexity and the tools to connect. Where applicable, the automation platform subscription and n8n hosting come on top.

n8n, Make or Zapier?

Make and Zapier are hosted services, quick to set up, billed by volume. n8n is hosted on your own server, with no volume limit and your data staying with you. We recommend n8n as soon as the workflows become numerous or sensitive.

Can WhatsApp be automated?

Yes, through the WhatsApp Business API: order confirmation, delivery tracking, quote follow-up, answers to frequent questions. The message templates are submitted to and approved by Meta.

What happens if a workflow fails?

Each workflow sends an alert on failure and keeps the pending data so it can be replayed. Nothing is lost, and you know within minutes that an intervention is needed.

Do we need to change our current tools?

No. Automation connects what you already use: Google Sheets, Odoo, WooCommerce, Shopify, your CRM, your email. Changing a tool is only considered if it genuinely blocks the flow.
